Drop The Lime was by far the best performance I saw at Stereosonic and I am kicking myself that I missed his more intimate performance at Chinese Laundry on the weekend. His hard hitting bassline style is unique in a genre that are normally is reserved to looping a heavy bassline for 3 ½ mins. His mixing skills were also as unique and amazing as his production, playing heavy hitters, crowd pleasers and even a bit of old school rock and roll with confidence of a true CDJ master.
One song stuck in my mind over anything that day, I was already losing it with him dropping Tek-One’s crazy track – Hate You and then he dropped this beast of a track that fooled everyone and destroyed them at the drop in the 52 degree sweatfest that was the showbag pavilion.
Don’t Let the intro fool you.

Peace,

I would say best performer there also, playing dubstep to staight out floor bangers, then even singing vocals over tracks. It was pretty impressive. Pretty awesome show for a dance set….surkin smashed it though!
